1st stage. Friday 24 April – Chianti

2.00 pm Departure from Poggibonsi, an important economic and social center of the Valdelsa, towards Chianti on a path immersed in fantastic landscapes, dotted with spectacular vineyards and extraordinary olive groves. Passages in the centers in small Chiantigiani villages to reach Greve in Chianti, the capital of Chianti that will welcome us in its famous Triangular Square. Passages in the historic centers of Radda in Chianti and Castellina in Chianti. Return to Poggibonsi (7.15pm) along the panoramic Villarosa’s Road.


II ° Stage. Saturday 25 April – Montagnola Senese – Piazza del Campo – Le Crete – Val d’Orcia – Maremma – Argentario

8:00 am Departure from Poggibonsi for San Gimignano (a UNESCO-listed medieval village), followed by Casole d’Elsa and La Montagnola Senese. Siena awaits us with a passage (and aperitif stop) in Piazza del Campo, the Piazza del Palio, fascinating and unique in the world. We will cross the northern area of ​​the Crete Senesi a magnificent and very suggestive area. From here to Buonconvento to Montalcino (home of the legendary Brunello wine) for a special smart lunch. You then enter Val d’Orcia, a UNESCO world heritage valley, up to Cinigiano and from here you enter the Maremma up to. in Magliano in Toscana, and the usual passage of the Corsa in its small historic center teeming with restaurants. And finally Porto Ercole on the fishing dock, historical place where the Ancillotti brothers went to get fish for their restaurant. Crossing the “real Maremma”, the Uccellina Park, and Alberese you arrive in Grosseto, which you cross in its historic center up to Piazza Dante. From here a short journey to the Fattoria la Principina Hotel (7:00 pm) for dinner and overnight.


III ° Stage. Sunday 26 April – Maremma – Colline Metallifere – Calanchi

7:45 am Departure from the Park of the Hotel Fattoria La Principina towards the seaside village of Castiglion della Pescaia, on its promenade. We continue in the Maremma to the welcoming Massa Marittima in its magical square, for a special coffee-break. From here you enter the scenery of the metalliferous hills, in an extreme landscape pierced by geothermal pipes up to Larderello, Pomarance. We will cross the suggestive Calanchi area up to Volterra. From here to Colle Val d’Elsa to Poggibonsi for the Macchi Trophy (13:00).
